Introduction

Account Planning is a tool which allows user to get the records of deals which are either closed or not finalized.  User can easily differentiate between closed deals and pipeline deals. User can access the deals which are in discussion or which are closed won individually. It shows the different stages of deals which are still in discussion. Other information like deal size, deal type, deal amount and transaction id can also be accessed.

  • Opportunities
  • Closed Deals

7.2.1 Opportunities

Opportunities
What Opportunities tab shows the list of deals which are not finalized yet. These deals are in pipeline. Partners register the deals, but deals do not get finalized, opportunities tab holds the record of deals which are in discussion or present at any stage level.
  • Opportunities status- pipeline stage
  • Deal registration date- the date on which deal is regisetred.
  • Partner sales rep- represenative responsible for registering the deal.
  • Deal id
  • Deal size- the $ quantity that deal holds
  • Deal type
  • Estimated close date- the date estimated by partner, the deal gets closed.
Why This tab is featured for user’s convenience. User can easily access the deals which are not finalized.
How
  1. Click on Opportunities tab, it shows the list of pipeline deals. When partner registers a deal, it comes into pipeline and will be displayed in this tab.

7.2.1(a) Show entries

  1. Click on dropdown
  2. Select any number (10, 25, 50, and 100) from the dropdown list.
  3. The records will be displayed on screen accordingly.

7.2.1(b) Search Bar

  1. Type the rep name or account name in the search box that user wants to search.
  2. The searched details will be displayed on screen

7.2.5(b) Pagination

  1. Click on page number that user wants to go; user will be redirected to that page.
  2. Click on Next for the next page.
  3. Click on Previous for the previous page.

7.2.2 Closed Deals

Closed Deals
What Closed Deals tab shows the list of deals which are closed won. These deals are finalized. This tab holds the record of deals which are actual and will generate income.
  • Pipeline level- Closed won (same for all deals).
  • Transaction date- the date on which deal is regisetred.
  • Partner sales rep- represenative responsible for registering the deal.
  • Transaction id
  • Deal amount- the $ quantity that deal holds.
  • Deal type
Why This tab is featured for user’s convenience. User can easily access the deals which are closed won.
How
  • Click on Closed Deals tab, it shows the list of Closed Won deals. A deal which is in pipeline when gets finalized, will move to this tab.

  • Click on Export button to donwload the excel file of all the deals (Opportunities or Closed Deals).
