This guide will help Channel Managers and Partner Contacts effectively use the Plan Acceptance and Approval Page for managing and tracking business plan approvals and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Role-Based Access and Permissions #
1. For Channel Manager #
View Permissions:
Can view the status of Overall Plan Acceptance/Approval and QBR Acceptance for any selected fiscal year.
Commenting:
Can add comments (if activated) for any fiscal year.
No Acceptance or Reversal:
Channel managers cannot accept or reverse any approvals.
2. For Partner Contact #
Overall Plan Acceptance:
Can accept the overall business plan only for the current fiscal year.
Can reverse the acceptance for any selected fiscal year.
QBR Acceptance:
Can accept eligible quarters of the QBR.
Can reverse acceptance for eligible quarters.
Commenting:
Can add comments (if activated) for any fiscal year.

1. Who can view the acceptance statuses?
- Both channel managers and partner contacts can view the statuses for any fiscal year.
2. Can channel managers accept or reverse a plan?
- No, channel managers can only view the acceptance statuses and add comments.
3. Can partner contacts accept plans for past fiscal years?
- No, Partner Contacts can only accept plans for the current fiscal year.
4. What happens if a partner contact reverses a QBR acceptance?
- The status will update, and the quarter will show as “Pending” until reaccepted.
5. Can comments be edited after being saved?
- No, comments cannot be edited once saved.
6. What do the colored icons mean?
- Green: Approved/Accepted
- Red: Not Approved/Not Accepted
- Blue: Pending in the current period
- White: Pending in the future period
